We had our Q&A webinar this week for the WFTGA convention in Sicily and today we want to send you a little summary and the video recording.

In addition to many interesting visits throughout Sicily with an exciting pre- and post-program, the 20th WFTGA Convention will feature presentations, workshops and many opportunities for networking and professionalization.

You’ve never been to a convention?
Then you really missed something!
When guides from all over the world come together, it’s like a big family reunion. There are about 450 guides from over 60 countries.
The official meeting language is English, of course, but don’t worry. There are usually 50 to 100 guides from the German speaking area and they are happy to help you with language barriers.

Here again a small overview from the presentation of the program:

• Professionalization through best practice field trips:
  Exciting will certainly be the backstage visit to the puppet makers, the papyrus museum or the world famous Greek theater of Siracusa.
• Italian food in all its varieties:
  Whether fish, meat, vegetarian or vegan, there will be something delicious for everyone!
• Stay in hotels in the middle of the old town among locals
• Pre-Tour to Etna and Catania
• Post Tour to Palermo
