Where it all began.
Born in Passau in 1981, in costume through the old town at 22. In 2010 I started the Bavarian referendum for smoke-free restaurants from here. Today I am back on the city council, independent in the FDP group.

“Aren't we all seekers, our whole lives? Isn't it actually something wonderful when you can stay open?”
A 30-minute conversation with Niederbayern TV Passau about the smoking-ban referendum, hostility, courage and why I went back into politics.

“The destination is the stage. The healing happens in the human encounter on that stage.”

On stage, at congresses, with guests. And in between, a snapshot.
Most of these photos were taken between two appointments: on the way to a congress, after a tour, in a rare free hour. Often a quick selfie is all that remains.
