From March 10 to 13 the Chamber of Commerce elections an opportunity for all of us to play an active role in shaping the future of entrepreneurs in Austria. In Upper Austria, I myself had the privilege of 2015 to 2020 as a mandatary in the WKO and see how committed people are doing great work at state level. Especially the Sports and Leisure Section under Dr. Robert Steiner and Chairwoman Petra Riffert proves that it is possible to represent the interests of entrepreneurs with heart and competence.

But at federal level, especially in Vienna, we urgently need a change! change! The entrenched cliques of the Wirtschaftsbund are blocking innovative and sustainable approaches. Now is the time to bring a breath of fresh air into the chamber!

Why your vote for the green economy counts

The Green Economy is committed to a sustainable, social and fair economy. Especially now, when sustainable economic activity is not just an ideal but a necessity, it needs strong representation in the Chamber of Commerce.

✅ Living sustainability – The economy and the environment belong together. Those who do not operate sustainably now are gambling away the future. We are committed to climate protection, the circular economy and green innovations.

✅ Strengthening social security – Sick leave or an economic crisis should not be a risk to your livelihood. Especially EPU and small businesses need more social security, fair framework conditions and less bureaucracy.

✅ Enable equal opportunities – 47% of all companies are managed by womenbut little is seen in decision-making positions. It is time for real equality and fair promotion.
