Today I was allowed to give a talk for the City Pastoral Linz and for the Continuing Education Center Linz on the topic “Church where are you? Spiritual places in public space”
But what are spiritual places anyway, what are religious symbols?

We went on a walking tour together to spiritual places in Linz, where we stopped at Herbert Bayer Platz, among others. This was redesigned in 2008 with the idea of “what does a person need to feel good?”

After the city tour, we asked ourselves the questions: “What is a spiritual place for me? What does it need? If I had all the financial resources, aside from politics and historic preservation, etc., what would be my dream spiritual place?”
